Stereophile magazine placed this tube at the top of the 300B category, and this new production version is much easier to obtain than a vintage pair of bottles. Every triode is individually numbered, with its own test results included as well. The packaging is also exquisite: a cherry box engraved with the Western Electric name contains both sealed tube boxes.
