These tubes are Winged "C" 6L6GC tubes that draw higher than usual plate current. Because of this many amps can not properly bias these tubes without a modification to the bias circuit to increase the negative voltage. These are perfect for those who work on their own equipment and can make resistor adjustments and circuit modifications to bring them into proper bias.
