The kit is easy to build and comes with instructions and all required parts including a pre-drilled and labeled faceplate. It requires no wiring modification to the amp and can be mounted conveniently on the back panel of the head or combo. You will need an extra speaker cable. If no speaker is plugged into the output jack, a power resistor is switched into the circuit so you can use it as a preamp only. The mounting instructions are for an Epiphone Valve Junior Head or Combo. You can mount in the back or the front of the cabinet - see the pictures. The BitMo 10-uator is rated at 10 watts. The kit now contains parts and instruction to allow configuration for 4, 8 and 16 ohm amps and speakers. Note: The Studio 10-uator mods are compatible with the BitMo Spanky, Brat and Trio kits. Recommend tube upgrades: Standard: One JJ 12AX7 and one medium bias JJ EL84 Creamy Overdrive Distortion: One Tungsol 12AX7 and one low bias JJ EL84 Note: BitMo kits do not include tubes.
