The Q-Tron series of effects pedals are "envelope controlled filters," which means the sound responds to what is played. The consistency of our perfect guitar player makes it easier to understand how the controls actually work. As with other pedals in this type, the Mode selects the band pass of the filter. The four modes are (starting from the top): Low Pass, Band Pass, High Pass, and Mix. The Mix option throws in some clean instrument signal.
