The new JJ 5881 power output vacuum tube is now in stock! This JJ 5881/6L6 power tube is a high quality option for both guitar and home audio tube amplifiers.

From our review: " The tone is very balanced with no notable weighting in the response. I did find that it was softer than a 6L6, there’s no big bass thump and no sparkling highs, just a pleasant flat response. This may be just the thing if you have an amp you find too bright or if you like to use pedals. To my ears it has that sound I usually associate with an EL34, that broad midrange response."

JJ 5881 | Not great guitar tube's, just cheap 6l6 tube's.

Not a great 6l6 by any means. I just got a used Fender DeVille Amplifier with a pair of JJ-5881 tubes. Will be changing them to something vintage nos instead. Never liked JJ tubes.

I put two in my Marshall reissue plexus 50 and they were real nice. All JJs through amp have much better tone as all tone controls on amp are more usable and smoother. Much less harsh than some others.

Stellar!

I ordered a set of these for my 100watt Marshall JCM900 4100 and I couldn't be happier! Nice full bass, seriously punchy mids and crystal clear highs. You absolutely not be disappointed! Great service from the tube store also!
