The NOS Tungsram EL84 / 6BQ5 tube is an excellent tube for vintage amps. The VTV magazine reviewed this EL84 tube. For guitar amps they said, "...growling and vicious sounding. Harmonically rich with a nice hard-rock sound." In their Hi-Fi amp review they said, "This EL84 had lots of air and was very 3-dimensional sounding. It also had lots of punch and great tonal balance. The Tungsram EL84 was very enjoyable and musically involving." Note: The silver spotting along the walls of the bottle are not burn marks.
