Tungsram (Micron) EL84 / 6BQ5

The NOS Tungsram EL84 / 6BQ5 tube is an excellent tube for vintage amps.

The VTV magazine reviewed this EL84 tube. For guitar amps they said, "...growling and vicious sounding. Harmonically rich with a nice hard-rock sound." In their Hi-Fi amp review they said, "This EL84 had lots of air and was very 3-dimensional sounding. It also had lots of punch and great tonal balance. The Tungsram EL84 was very enjoyable and musically involving."

Note: The silver spotting along the walls of the bottle are not burn marks. These marks are caused by the manufacturing process Tungsram used and are not an indicator of "used" tubes. As well, our current stock is labeled by Micron Electronics not Tungsram as shown in our photo. However, rest assured they are Tungsram EL84 tubes.
