YJCT Triode Yellow Jackets - Cathode Bias Single

Yellow Jackets plug into the power tube socket of your amp and replace the power tube you are using with an EL84. This version will turn a cathode biased "Class A Pentode" amp into a cathode biased "Class A Triode" amp with a ground wire to connect to the chassis in cathode bias amplifiers.

The "YJC Triode" model of Yellow Jacket reduces the amplifier's power by 70% to 90%. They can be used to replace 6V6, EL34, 6L6 and 6550 tube types in class A cathode biased amps without modification or rebiasing. An EL84 tube is included.

Using this style of Yellow Jacket will allow you to attain sweet, overdriven tube sounds while keeping the volume at a neighbor-friendly level. Total height of socket and tube is 5 3/8" or 14cm.
